What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the App. We do not use any advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.
1. Account information (only if you unlock the paid version). The free preview requires no account. To purchase lifetime access, you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Through that sign-in we receive a unique account identifier and your email address (and, if provided, your name). If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address, not your real email. We do not receive or store your Apple/Google password.
2. Learning progress. Your practice history, scores, and progress are stored locally on your device. A minimal record tied to your account may be kept by our backend so your purchase (entitlement) works across your devices. We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles from your activity.
3. Technical information. Standard information needed to deliver content and keep the service secure (e.g. a session token stored on your device, and server logs from our providers). We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for tracking.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and tie your one-time purchase to your account ("yours on any device").
- To deliver the question bank you purchased and restore purchases.
- To provide, maintain, secure, and support the App.
- To meet legal, tax, and app-store obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to anyone.
What we never do
The app ships with no analytics SDK. This website loads no fonts, scripts, images or stylesheets from anywhere else, sets no cookies, and makes no requests to any third party. Nothing here reports back that you visited.
- No tracking or analytics
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No third-party SDKs in the app beyond what sign-in and payment require
Your purchase
2. Purchase information. When you buy lifetime access, the payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (we never see your card or bank details). Our payments provider, RevenueCat, records that a purchase/entitlement exists and links it to your account identifier so we can unlock content and restore your purchase on other devices.
Who we share it with (our service providers)
We use a small set of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, only to run the App:
- Supabase — authentication and secure backend storage. Our data is hosted in Supabase's Sydney, Australia region.
- RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management (based in the United States).
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store billing) and Google (Google Sign-In, Google Play billing) — sign-in and in-app payment processing, per their respective privacy policies.
Some providers (e.g. RevenueCat) are located overseas, so your information may be processed outside Australia. We only share what's necessary and rely on providers with their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
How we protect your information
Purchased content is encrypted, backend access is restricted by row-level security so users can only reach their own records, and we hold only the minimum data described above. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We retain the minimum transaction and tax records that we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires. These records do not identify you within the app and are not used to restore your account.
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists or as needed for legal/tax obligations. You can delete your account and associated data at any time in the App: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account and the personal data we hold for it. You can also sign out (Settings → Sign Out) without deleting anything. You can request deletion another way — including if you have already uninstalled the App — by emailing support@lplate-academy.com; we'll verify your request and action it within a reasonable time.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us from the address you signed in with. Your account and the personal data we hold for it are deleted immediately, and it cannot be undone.
Step-by-step instructions, and a full list of what is deleted and what is kept, are on the delete your account page.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and to have it deleted. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're unhappy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
